1. Who we are
These terms cover work carried out by Halfpitch (the company, we, us) for you (the homeowner, you). By accepting a written quote or paying a deposit you agree to them.
2. Quotes and prices
A quote is a fixed price for the work described in it and stays valid for 30 days. Starting prices on this website are typical, not offers. Your written quote is the only price that counts.
3. Deposits and payments
A deposit books your start date. After that we invoice at agreed stages tied to finished work. The final payment is due when we have walked the job with you and agreed the punch list.
4. Schedule and delays
We give you a week-by-week schedule with your quote. If something outside our control moves a date, such as weather or a late delivery you chose, we tell you the same day and agree a new date in writing.
5. Changes to the work
If you ask for a change, or we find something hidden behind a wall, we price it in writing before we do it. We do not start extra work until you have agreed the price and the effect on the schedule.
6. Access and your home
You give us safe access during working hours and tell us about pets, alarms and anything fragile. We protect floors and furniture, keep dust contained and leave the site tidy each day.
7. Warranty
We repair defects in our workmanship for 12 months after handover at no charge. This does not cover normal wear, damage by others or products that carry their own manufacturer warranty.
8. Insurance and licences
We hold the licences and public liability insurance required for the work we do. Certificates are on every quote and available on request.
9. Cancelling
You can cancel before work starts and we return your deposit less any materials we have already ordered for you. Once work has started you pay for work completed and materials ordered up to that point.
10. Law and contact
